CONNECTING A DVD PLAYER OR HDTV SET TOP BOX WITH DOLBY DIGITAL COAXIAL OUTPUT TO VIDEO INPUT

1. Connect the cable from the Y OUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the VIDEO input (Y) jack, as shown on the TV
set below.
2. Connect the cable from the CB/PB OUT or B-Y OUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the VIDEO input (PB) jack.
3. Connect the cable from the CR/PR OUT or R-Y OUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the VIDEO input (PR) jack.
4. Connect the cable from the COAXIAL OUTPUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the COAXIAL input jack.
5. Press the VID1~VID3 button, to view the program from the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box. The VIDEO icon disappears
automatically after approximately eight seconds.
6. Press the ANT button to return to the previous channel.

NOTE: 1. Completely insert the connection cord plugs when connecting to rear panel jacks. The picture and sound that is
played back will be abnormal if the connection is loose.
2. See page 12 for tips on REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS.
3. If your device is connected to VIDEO 1 component jacks, make sure to select VID1-COAXIAL (DIGITAL) from
the THEATER-INPUT SOURCE menu. If it is connected to VIDEO 2 component jacks, make sure to select
VID2-COAXIAL (DIGITAL) from the THEATER-INPUT SOURCE menu.
