4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 32 ).
5. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 36 ).
Remove the top cover:
1. Remove the five Phillips screws that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.
2. Disconnect the power button cable (1) and the TouchPad cable (2).
3. Close the display and turn the computer upside down.
