F. Install Vertical Termination Baffl e
• Remove the glass (refer to Section 14.J.) to access the
fi rebox and 5 in. inner fl ue.
• Fold the baffl e (Figure 7.17) to an approximate 90°
angle (see Figure 7.18).
• Squeeze the open end of the bent baffl e with one
hand. Insert the baffl e bent side up into the inner fl ue
so that the bottom of the baffl e is above the bead on
the inside of the collar. See Figure 7.19.
• Release pressure on the baffl e so that it is wedged
against the sides of the fl ue collar. See Figure 7.20.
• Replace the glass (refer to Section 14.J.).
• Start the appliance.
Note: For vertically terminated installations only.
