4 Exit the VCR audio setting
Press MENU button repeatedly until the TV/VCR returns to the TV mode.
TO SELECT MONO MODE
You can change the selection to [MONO] if you want to listen to HIFI tapes in
normal audio playback.
1) Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "USER'S SET UP". Then, press
SELECT button.
2) Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "VCR AUDIO".
3) Press CH

button repeatedly until [MONO] appears.
4) Press MENU button to return to the TV mode.
TO SELECT STEREO, SAP OR MONO MODE
You must select the recording mode in STEREO, SAP or MONO when you record
broadcast. Refer to "MTS RECORDING/MONITOR MODE" on previous page.
When you play the tape on that TV/VCR later, it will be in stereo, second audio or
mono. Follow the steps below for selecting the recording mode.
If you select second audio when second audio is not available, the TV/VCR will
record normal audio.
1 Select "USER'S SET UP"
Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "USER'S SET UP".
Then, press SELECT button.
2 Select "VCR AUDIO"
Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "TV AUDIO".
3 Select "STEREO", "SAP" or "MONO"
Press CH
or
button repeatedly until [STEREO], [SAP] or [MONO] appears.
4 Exit the TV audio setting
Press MENU button until the TV/VCR returns to the TV mode.
