Selecting PostScript

For EPL-4000/4100 and ActionLaser users

Hold down the SelecType button for several seconds until the

display shows SelecType LEVEL2.

Press the

until the “MODE ASSIGN” menu

appears.

Press the

to enter the option; the CH submenu (for

example, CH P LQ

>) appears.

Press the

to choose the interface that will use

the PostScript CARD. (If your desired interface is displayed in

step 3, ignore this step).

5. Press the

to enter the printer mode option. You see

the icon, which means the displayed printer mode is currently

selected.

6. Press the

until the PS” option appears.

Press the

to set the PostScript mode.

8. Press the SelecType button three times to exit SelecType.

The PostScript mode remains in effect until you change the setting

or turn off the printer. If you wish to make this setting permanent,

use the “P-CONFIG. SAVE” menu in SelecType Level 2. See your

printer manual.
