Using the OSD menu
You can adjust your HP monitor to suit your preferences. Use the OSD menu to customize the viewing features
of your monitor.
To access and make adjustments in the OSD:

Use the buttons at the bottom of the monitor’s front bezel.

Use the OSD controller on the monitor’s rear panel.
To access the OSD menu and make adjustments:
1.
If the monitor is not already on, press the power button to turn on the monitor.
2.
Press the
Menu
button or, if you are using the OSD controller, press the center of the OSD controller.
3.
Use the five function buttons to navigate, select, and adjust the menu choices. The on-screen button
labels vary, depending on which menu or submenu is active.

Move the controller up, down, left, or right to navigate menu choices. Press the center of the controller to
make a selection.
The following table lists possible menu selections in the OSD main menu. It includes descriptions for each
setting and its impacts on your monitor's appearance or performance.

Main menu
Description
Brightness+
Adjusts the brightness, contrast levels, dynamic contrast, black stretch level, and video level.
Color
Selects and adjusts the screen color and provides a variety of color presets that configure the monitor for
different viewing situations.
Image
Adjusts the screen image, including response time, sharpness, image scaling, and HDMI overscan settings.
Input
Selects the video input signal and adjusts related settings.
Picture beside Picture
(PbP)
Adjusts PbP settings (turning on or off and assigning inputs) and enables or disables HP Device Bridge file
transfer.
Power
Adjusts the power settings.
Menu
Adjusts the OSD controls including language, position, transparency, timeout, messages, and assignable
buttons.
Management
Shows information, adjusts the DDC/CI and Audio settings, and returns all OSD menu settings to the
factory default settings.
Exit
Exits the OSD menu screen.
Using the OSD function buttons
The function buttons offer useful actions, and you can customize all but one of them to make them even more
useful.
