Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center, if network
discovery is off; click the arrow button
to expand the section.
Click Turn on network discovery, and then click Apply. If you are prompted for an administrator
password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
