Thank you for purchasing PLANET 48-Port 10/100/1000Mbps with 4-Port Shared
SFP Web Smart Switch, GSW-4804SF. Terms of “Switch” in following section of
this Quick installation guide means the GSW-4804SF.
Upon open the box of the Switch and carefully unpack it. The box should contain
the following items:

User’s manual CD x 1
RS-232 Console cable x 1
Power Cord x 1
Rubber feet x 4
Two rack-mounting brackets with attachment screws x1
If any item is found missing or damaged, please contact your local reseller for
replacement.
Requirements
The GSW-4804SF provide remote Web interface for manage; the following
equipments are necessary for further management.
Network cables: Use standard network (UTP) cables with RJ45 connectors.
Subscriber PC installed with Ethernet NIC (Network Card)
The operate system of subscriber PC that running Windows 98/ME, NT4.0, 2000/XP,
MAC OS9 or later, Linux, UNIX or other platform compatible with TCP/IP protocols.
