that performs a countdown starting from 40 minutes. This period of 40
minutes is called the “
warm-up phase".
After 40 minutes, if the temperature of the probe exceeds 65°C, it
means that the internal temperature is rising because the fireplace
stove is coming up to operating power, and therefore the fan must stay
on. After 40 minutes, if the probe does not reach 65°C, it means that
the power of the fire is low and the ventilation must be shut off.
If the user changes the speed while the system is between 45°C and
65°C, this is interpreted as a request for ventilation. The system goes
back to the
warm-up phase; the timer is reset to 40 minutes and the
countdown begins.
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN BY MEANS OF PROBE:
If the temperature probe drops below 65°C, ventilation is shut off.

Other functions of the control unit FC 715
STAND-BY: The fan is off because the blue ON/OFF button of the
radio remote control has been pressed. Shutdown is signalled by a long
beep.
SAFETY: In STAND-BY status, if the temperature exceeds 150°C, the
fan comes on at speed 1 and the system goes into AUTOMATIC mode.
Ventilation continues until the temperature drops below 65°C.
STATUS RECOVERY: the system automatically saves, in non-volatile
memory, the last power setting made by the user, allowing continuation
at the speed after a power outage.
4.10.6.
Setting transmission code of the radio
remote control
The radio remote control and the control unit are set with a neutral
code that makes it possible to check operation of the ventilation kit
immediately, before the cladding is completely installed.
It may however be necessary to change this code, and as a result the
transmission frequency, if another fireplace stove is located nearby
(e.g. if your neighbour has one) or if other signals interfere with
transmission.
The code can be personalized as follows:
• Unplug the control unit
• Open the battery compartment of the radio remote control by
moving the cover in the direction of the arrow
(Figure 20)
• Raise any one, or more than one, of the 10 white keys as
shown in the example in
figure 21.
• Close the radio remote control
• Press and hold the red key of the radio remote control, and at
the same time plug it back in.
• After a maximum of 15 seconds, a prolonged beep or a series
of beeps in sequence confirm that the radio remote control has
been connected to the control unit with the new code.
