Handling and operation
In this section you receive important information for the handling and operation
of the appliance.
Switching On and Off
After connecting the appliance to the mains power supply, it automatically starts
the setting system. In the display
the text „PLEASE WAIT FOR SETTING
THANKS“ appears for about 3 to 5 minutes. Should a signal be received during
this period, the system is updated automatically.
NOTICE
To cancel this process, press any button.

The system then starts with the following default settings:
Date/Time

Radio is switched off
■
Clock mode/Standby operation is active
■
Display dimmer is active
■
With connection to the mains power supply, the appliance switches to clock/
standby operation. The appliance can be switched on or off via the button

on the remote control.
Using the button Function / ST

control, you can switch back and forth between the modes radio, iPod and AUX.

on the remote control do not
completely disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply. The
appliance also consumes power when in standby-mode. To completely
disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply, the power adapter

must be removed from the mains power socket.
Basic settings
After the appliance has been connected to the mains power supply it shows the
time of day and the day of the week in the display
. The appliance is in the
operational mode clock/standby operation.
