measuring your weight
Tip: Weigh yourself at the same time of day
(preferably in the morning) after visiting the toilet,
with an empty stomach and without clothing to
ensure that your results are compatible.
Place the scales down on a solid, flat horizontal
surface.
Do not place the scales on a carpet, otherwise
this may influence the results. If necessary you
can place a board on the carpet and place the
scales upon this. A solid floor covering is re-
quired in order to achieve correct weight meas-
urements.
Switch on the scales by stepping onto it.
Note: First four eights appear briefly, as
shown in Fig. I This activates the vibration sen-
sor in the scales. The scales are ready to meas-
ure your weight.
Place even weight on each leg.
If at all possible stand on the same areas of the

Moving during the weighing process can lead
to discrepancies in the results.
The scales will start to measure immediately.
After blinking three times, the weight display
will display the result.
Note: If the scales show “ERR” (see Fig. D),
it signals that the scales are overloaded.
Observe the maximum capacity of
150 kg / 330 lb / 23 st.
Note: If the scales show „C“ (see Fig. E) when
you step off the scales, it signals that this weight
reading with an error, please measure again.
Step off the platform. The scales switch to time
mode automatically after about 20 seconds. Un-
til then the weight measurement remains visible.
Note: After a change of location and follow-
ing every battery change, the scales must be
re-calibrated. To do this, proceed as follows:
Step onto the scales. The scales will show you
an incorrect measuring result. Step off the plat-
form. The scales will calibrate automatically.
Wait until the scales switch to time mode auto-
matically.
