4.4.
installing drain hose Kit
4.4.1.
Insert spring and fit clip to the drain hose as in fig.4.
4.4.2.
Remove the nylon drain plug from the base of the machine (fig.5), and place plug in tank inlet (fig.6)
4.4.3.
Push the drain hose onto the drain connection (fig.6).
4.4.4.
fold the drain hose along the base of the machine and lead the free end to a suitable
drain point.

switch the machine off and unplug from the mains before carrying out any
maintenance or cleaning.
5.1.
filter Cleaning
5.1.1.
It is recommended that the air filter is cleaned after two weeks of operation.
5.1.2.
to remove the filter, pull the central handle and spring out, as in fig.8.
5.1.3.
the filter may be washed in warm water and left to dry naturally.
dO NOT use solvent
cleaners nor use heat to dry the filter.
5.1.4.
once dry; replace the filter by snapping it back into place, making sure that the lower edge
fits behind the casing locations and that all the lugs are sprung gently into place.
5.2.
Cleaning the Casing
5.2.1.
the casing may be cleaned by rubbing over with a damp cloth.
dO NOT use detergents,
abrasive or solvent cleaners as these will damage the surface finish.
5.2.2.
dO NOT
allow
the
control
panel
to
become
wet.
5.3. Storage
5.3.1.
When the unit is to be taken out of use for an extended period, the following precautions
should be taken to avoid deterioration:
5.3.2.
clean the air filter as in 5.1. above.
5.3.3.
If used with the drain tank, wash the tank out with warm water and remove the drain plug
from beneath the machine to empty condensate.
5.3.4.
replace the drain plug and drain tank.
5.3.5.
If used with the drain hose kit, remove the hose and run through with warm water.
5.3.6.
store upright in a dry, childproof location away from direct sunlight.

to freezing conditions.
