to property
Protect the appliance and the 12 V adapter
from moisture and damp.
Ensure that no foreign bodies are in the
appliance.
Should liquids or foreign bodies have
entered the appliance housing, pull the
12 V adapter instantly. Have the appliance
tested before using it again.
Do not use the appliance, if the appliance or
the power cable show any visible damage.
Pull the 12 V adaptor out of the socket, if
there is a fault or if the ventilator is not in use.
To unplug the 12 V adaptor from the socket,
always pull at the adaptor itself and not at
the cable.
To avoid hazards, do not make any changes
of the device.
To avoid any danger, any damaged con-
nective cable of this article may only be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or a similar qualified specialist.
Before connecting the 12 V adapter, start the
vehicle. This way you will avoid damage by
voltage fluctuation.
Attach the ventilator in such a way that it
cannot drop. Before affixing it, make sure
the surface is smooth, dry, clean and free of
grease.
Do not stick objects into the turning rotor.
Do not operate the appliance at tempera-
tures below 0 °C or above 50 °C. Please
keep in mind that extreme temperatures are
possible inside a vehicle during mid summer
or in winter.
Switch the fan off, before you switch the
engine off, or leave the vehicle.
Danger of injuries
Do not put fingers into the turning fan.
Danger in traffic
Regularly check the tight fit of the suction
cap. A fan that drops down can impair the
safety in traffic considerably.
Ensure that the fan cannot do any damage
or hinder the driver if it drops down sud-
denly (e.g. when braking abruptly).
Fit the fan in such a way that the driver’s
vision is not impaired. Otherwise there is a
danger of accidents.
Mount the fan in such a way in the vehicle
that it is not in your survival space or in the
inflation zone of an airbag.
