11. To lower the risk of electric

shock, disconnect the charg-

er from the outlet before

cleaning.

Safety notices for the

rechargeable battery

a) Do not open the rechargea-

ble battery. There otherwise

is a risk of short circuit.

b) Protect the rechargeable

battery from heat (constant

sunlight), fire, water and

moisture. Risk of explosion.

c) Do not short-circuit the re-

chargeable battery. Risk of

explosion.

d) Damage and improper use

of the rechargeable battery

may result in vapours leak-

ing. If discomfort occurs,

provide ventilation and

seek medical attention. The

vapours may irritate the res-

piratory system.

e) Fluid may leak from a dam-

aged rechargeable battery

and come into contact with

surrounding components.

Check all affected parts.

Clean these parts or replace,

if necessary.

f) Only use the rechargea-

ble battery along with the

equipment. This will protect

the rechargeable battery

from dangerous overload.

g) Only use OEM rechargea-

ble batteries; Using other

rechargeable batteries, e.g.

copies, refurbished batteries

or other brand batteries pos-

es a risk of injuries and prop-

erty damage due to recharge-

able batteries exploding.

h) Only store the rechargeable

battery at a temperature

range from 10 °C to 25 °C.

So do not leave the recharge-

able battery in the car in

summer.

Additional safety require-

ments for rechargeable

batteries

1. The rechargeable battery

included with the battery-

operated power tool is not

charged. The rechargeable

battery must be charged

before using the tool for the

first time.

2. The charge of the battery

will diminish, even when not

used. We therefore recom-
