Maintenance and Cleaning
Leave any work not covered in
this manual to our Service Cen-
tre. Only use original parts.
Remove the battery ( 7) from
the unit before servicing it.
Wear gloves when handling the
blades ( 11/12).
Clean and service the unit regularly as fol-
lows. This guarantees a long life for your
unit:
• Check the covers and guards for dam-
age and correct position. If necessary,
replace.
• Always keep the unit clean. Never use
cleaning agents or solvents, which
can cause irreparable damage to the
unit. Chemicals can attack the plastic
components on the unit.
• Clean the blades carefully after each
use. Wipe it off with an oily rag or
spray metal-protection spray on them.
