Choosing your pitch / setup

Look for a pitch which is as level and clean as pos-
sible, avoiding hollows. Remove any stones and
similar objects in order to prevent damage to the
groundsheet. Take the shelter out of its bag. Please
note that the poles are under tension and snap into
the natural shape of the beach shelter. Taking care
that the release of tension cannot cause injury. Th-
row the beach shelter away from you into the air.
When pegging the tent down, ensure that the pegs
are driven into the ground at a slight angle in order
to attain high stability, but without straining the tent
material. The tent fabric and the loops should only
be lightly tensioned in order to compensate for the
pressure of the wind.

Dismantling

For dismantling, please follow the instructions on
the page with illustrations. To prevent the formation
of mould or mildew you should only put the beach
shelter down in a clean and dry condition.

Care / repair

Brush any dirt off the tent when dry. Then wash with
clear water if necessary. For stubborn stains, use a
standard cleaning agent for tents. Please never put
your tent in the washing machine or have it dry cle-
aned! Holes and tears can also be mended using
the same material. The poles require no special
care except for being kept clean and dry in the be-
ach shelter carry bag. The poles of this tent cannot
be repaired.

Packaging

Pack the cleaned accessories into the carry bag
supplied. Place the tent in the carry bag and ca-
refully do up the zip. Keep the tent in a dry, cool,

frost-free and well-ventilated place. Do not pack
and store when damp, (mould formation, mildew).

Special problems /
particular environmental conditions

UV radiation, all tent fabrics suffer fatigue if conti-
nuously subjected to strong sunlight, and fade to
a certain degree. If you have your beach shelter
outside e.g. for months, this material fatigue can
occur. In case of severe weather warnings (storm)
it is recommended that you pack away the beach
shelter.
