Press the shutter release button to delete the
image.
NOTE
• The camera does not maintain open spaces in its
memory. Deleting an image causes images following
the deleted image to be shifted up to fill in the empty
space. Note, however, that file names are not
changed.

Deleting All Images
The following procedure deletes all unprotected images cur-
rently in memory.
1. Align the dial with SET UP.
2.
Use [+] and [–] to select “DELETE/FORMAT”
and then press the shutter release button.
3.
Use [+] and [–] to select “DELETE ALL” and
then press the shutter release button.
4.
Use [+] and [–] to select “YES” and then press
the shutter release button.
• To cancel the delete operation without deleting any-
thing, select “NO” instead of “YES” and then press the
shutter release button.
