they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.

fitted. If the device is not correctly assembled

Never expose the magnifying glass
to direct sunlight or other sources
of light. Do not leave the product unattended.
Otherwise there is a risk of fire through con-
centrated light rays and concentrated heat.
Do not subject the device to any extreme
temperatures or severe mechanical stress.
Otherwise this may result in deformation of
the product.
Ensure that the lenses 1 and 2 do not come
into contact with sharp or pointed objects,
otherwise damage to the product may occur.
Battery safety
instructions
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep
batteries out of the reach of children. Do not
leave batteries lying around. There is a risk of
children or animals swallowing them. Consult
a doctor immediately if a battery is swallowed.
EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never
recharge nonrechargeable batteries,
short-circuit and / or open batteries.
This can cause them to overheat, burn or
burst. Never throw batteries into fire or water.
The batteries may explode.
Remove spent batteries from the product
immediately. Otherwise there is an increased
risk of leakage.
Always replace both batteries at the same
time and only use batteries of the same type.
Do not use different types of batteries or mix
used and new batteries together.
Check regularly that the batteries are not
leaking.
Leaked or damaged batteries can
cause chemical burns if they come
into contact with the skin; in such
cases you must wear suitable protective
gloves.
Remove the batteries from the product if it is
not in use for any length of time.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when
you insert the batteries. This is indicated in the
battery compartment. The batteries can other-
wise explode.
Remove used batteries from the device. Very
old or used batteries may leak. The chemical
fluid can damage the product.
Note: Electrostatic discharge can lead to dis-
ruptions in the function. If you have such a
functional disruption, remove the battery for a
short time and then replace it again.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION! Clean the lenses 1 and 2 very
carefully so as to avoid scratching them.
Use the cleaning cloth 6 supplied to clean
the product. You may have to moisten it a bit.
Keep the product in its protective case 5
when not in use.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when
it has reached the end of its useful life
and not in the household waste. Infor-
mation on collection points and their
opening hours can be obtained from
your local authority.
Defective or used batteries have to be recycled in
line with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual
domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy
metals and are subject to hazardous waste treat-
ment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols
for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium,
Hg= mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should
dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.

zu Batterien
LEBENSGEFAHR! Batterien
gehören nicht in Kinderhände. Lassen Sie
Batterien nicht herumliegen. Es besteht die
Gefahr, dass diese von Kindern oder Haustieren
verschluckt werden. Suchen Sie im Falle eines
Verschluckens sofort einen Arzt auf.
EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden
Sie nicht aufladbare Batterien nie-
mals wieder auf, schließen Sie sie
nicht kurz und / oder öffnen Sie sie nicht.
Überhitzung, Brandgefahr oder Platzen können
die Folge sein. Werfen Sie Batterien niemals
in Feuer oder Wasser. Die Batterien können
explodieren.
Entfernen Sie verbrauchte Batterien umge-
hend aus dem Produkt. Andernfalls besteht
erhöhte Auslaufgefahr.
Tauschen Sie immer beide Batterien gleichzei-
tig aus und setzen Sie nur Batterien des glei-
chen Typs ein.
Verwenden Sie keine unterschiedlichen Typen
oder gebrauchte und neue Batterien miteinander.
Prüfen Sie die Batterien regelmäßig auf
Undichtigkeit.
Ausgelaufene oder beschädigte
Batterien können bei Berührung mit
der Haut Verätzungen verursachen;
tragen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall unbedingt
geeignete Schutzhandschuhe!
Entfernen Sie bei längerer Nichtverwendung
die Batterien aus dem Produkt.
Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die richtige Po-
larität! Diese wird im Batteriefach angezeigt.
Andernfalls können die Batterien explodieren.
Entfernen Sie verbrauchte Batterien aus dem
Gerät. Sehr alte oder gebrauchte Batterien
können auslaufen. Die chemische Flüssigkeit
führt zu Schäden am Produkt.
Hinweis: Elektrostatische Entladung kann zu
Funktionsstörung führen. Treten solche funktio-
nelle Fehler auf, entfernen Sie kurz die Batte-
rie und legen sie wieder ein.
Reinigung und Pflege
VORSICHT! Reinigen Sie die Linsen 1 und 2
sehr vorsichtig, um Kratzer zu vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung das mitgelieferte
Reinigungstuch 6 . Feuchten Sie es ggf. ein
wenig an.
Bewahren Sie das Produkt in der Schutzhülle
5 auf, wenn Sie es nicht verwenden.
Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umwelt-
freundlichen Materialien, die Sie über
die örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsor-
gen können.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten
Produktes erfahren Sie bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder
Stadtverwaltung.
Werfen Sie Ihr Produkt, wenn es
ausgedient hat, im Interesse des
Umweltschutzes nicht in den Haus-
müll, sondern führen Sie es einer

não provoque curto-circuito nem
as abra. Tal pode provocar sobreaquecimento,
perigo de incêndio ou de explosão. Nunca
atire as pilhas para o fogo ou para a água.
Estas podem explodir.
Retire de imediato as pilhas usadas do produto.
Caso contrário, existe um elevado risco de
derrame.
Substitua sempre ambas as baterias ao mesmo
tempo e coloque apenas pilhas do mesmo
tipo.
Não utilize tipos diferentes, nem misture pilhas
novas e usadas.
Verifique regularmente as pilhas quanto a
derrame.
As pilhas danificadas ou com der-
rame de ácido podem provocar
queimaduras ao entrarem em con-
tacto com a pele; pelo que neste caso deverá
utilizar sempre luvas de protecção adequadas!
Caso o aparelho não seja utilizado durante
um longo período de tempo, retire as pilhas.
Ao colocar as pilhas, tenha atenção à polari-
dade correcta! Esta é indicada no comparti-
mento das pilhas. Caso contrário, as pilhas
podem explodir.
Retire as pilhas usadas do aparelho. As pilhas
muito antigas ou usadas podem derramar
ácido. O líquido químico provoca danos no
produto.
Recomendação: Descargas eletrostáticas po-
dem originar danos nas funcionalidades.
Caso ocorram esse tipo de erros nas funções,
retire as pilhas durante um curto espaço de
tempo e volte a colocá-las.
Limpeza e conservação
CUIDADO! Limpe a lente 1 e a lente 2 com
muito cuidado para evitar riscar as mesmas.
Para limpar utilize o pano de limpeza forneci-
do 6 . Se necessário, humedeça-o um pouco.
Guarde o produto na bolsa de protecção 5
quando não o estiver a utilizar.
Eliminação
A embalagem é feita de materiais não
poluentes que podem ser eliminados
nos contentores de reciclagem locais.
As possibilidades de reciclagem dos artigos utili-
