terística permanente. Anualmente
e, sobretudo antes de exposição
a esforços especiais, esta deve
ser verificada, uma vez que os
elementos de vedação integrados
perdem qualidade como resulta�
do do seu funcionamento e uso
diário.
Q Marcar o tempo
O anel exterior 6 foi concebido
para a marcação de um período
de tempo (p. ex. para a prática de
jogging). Através do anel exterior, é
possível verificar facilmente o tempo
decorrido.
j Rode o anel exterior 6 no
sentido dos ponteiros do relógio
para indicar o começo de uma
cronometragem.

As pilhas não podem ser eliminadas
no lixo doméstico. Podem conter me�
tais pesados tóxicos e são conside�
radas resíduos perigosos. Os símbo�
los químicos dos metais pesados são
os seguintes: Cd = cádmio, Hg =
mercúrio, Pb = chumbo. Como tal,
deposite as pilhas utilizadas num
ponto de recolha adequado do seu
município.

1. To set the time, pull the crown 2
out to the 1st position 5 .
2. Turn the crown 2 to set the hour
and minute hands 4 , 1 .
3. When the crown 2 is pushed
back to the normal position the
second hand 3 begins to run.
Q Watertightness
J This watch is watertight to five bar
in accordance with DIN 8310.
Figure B shows the permissible
areas of use. Please note that the
watertightness is not a permanent
feature. It should be checked
annually and particularly before
subjecting it to special conditions,
as the function of the inbuilt
sealing elements diminishes with
daily use.
Q Timing
The bezel 6 is used to indicate a
period of time (e.g. jogging time).
The amount of time elapsed can be
read easily from the bezel.
j Turn the bezel 6 in anti�
clockwise direction to mark the
start of timing.

j Clean the product on the outside
only with a soft, dry cloth.

The packaging is made

Batteries must not be disposed off
with domestic waste. They may con�
tain toxic heavy metals and are sub�
ject to hazardous waste treatment
rules and regulations. The chemical
symbols of the heavy metals are as
follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercu�
ry, Pb = lead. That is why you should
dispose of used batteries at a local
collection point.

culously examined before delivery.
In the event of product defects you
