Initial operation
Attaching the wrist strap
♦ Attach the wrist strap to the hole provided as shown in Figure 1.

Inserting/replacing the batteries
♦ Open the battery compartment cover .
♦
Insert the batteries. Ensure correct polarity as shown on the
diagram inside the battery compartment.
When the low battery icon appears in the display, you can still
make measurements.
As soon as the battery icon starts fl ashing, however, you must
replace the batteries. Measurements are no longer possible.
Always replace all batteries at the same time. Always use batteries
from the same manufacturer and of the same type.
NOTE
► If you do not intend to use the device for a long time, remove
the batteries. During extended periods of storage, the batteries
can corrode and discharge themselves.
