Turn on to the TV source of your
choice and find your television
channels.
If you watch television via digital
receivers or cable boxes, you can
select and operate the channels
available and services they may offer,
via the Beo4 remote control.
For each of the receivers or boxes
which are registered and compatible
with BeoVision Avant, selected
functions are available via menu
overlays. Each overlay informs you
how to get access to and operate
these functions via specific buttons
on the Beo4 remote control.
The menu overlay shows which Beo4
buttons correspond to the buttons or
services offered by the box or
receiver in question and its enclosed
remote control*.
*NOTE! For easy access to the selected functions,
you can always use the coloured buttons on
Beo4 for menu overlay operation directly. It is not
necessary that you call up the menu overlay first.
This only applies to the coloured buttons,
though.
Watch channels – TV or Satellite
Watch TV channels
Once you have selected your TV source and
specific channel area, just use your Beo4 to
step between the available channels or key in
the exact number.
Selected functions for TV
Use the Beo4 remote control to operate the
selected functions via the menu overlays. Each
possible menu overlay is not explained in
detail. The operations described below are
generic for all boxes, but the functions
activated will differ.
