If the picture format on the screen is

not to your satisfaction, instruct

BeoVision Avant to optimise the

picture for you. You can also choose

to change the picture format

yourself.

On BeoVision Avant, picture formats

are divided into four main groups:

Format 1*. For standard picture sizes.

Adjusts to an optimum picture

size. For NTSC TV sources, choose

Format 1.

Format 2. For letter-box pictures. The

picture is expanded, and can be

moved up or down on the screen.

Format 3. For wide-screen pictures,

16:9 picture format. If the TV

source is a digital TV (DTV) input,

format 3 is selected automatically.

Format 0. For a large-screen picture

in a Home theatre setup. Turn your

family room into a Home theatre

room, move the picture from the

Avant TV to a projector and onto a

large screen. If additional

equipment such as automation of

lights and curtains is available, it

will be activated, too.

*NOTE! Three different picture format sizes are

available when you choose Format 1, each with

black bars surrounding the picture, 15:9, 14:9 or

4:3 picture formats.

to a standard picture format, a wide-screen,

or full screen picture. Or instruct BeoVision

Avant to optimise the picture format for you.
