NOTE! For detailed instruction of the selected
functions available for your DVD player, please
refer to the DVD player’s own user’s guide.
You can switch on and operate a
connected DVD player via the Beo4
remote control, once it has been
registered in BeoVision Avant on-
screen menu system.
A subset of selected functions which
may be available for a particular DVD
player or available on a specific DVD
disc can also be operated via Beo4
and a menu overlay which you call
up on the screen.
Using a DVD player – via Beo4
Switching on and using DVD
You can switch on your DVD player via a
direct button on Beo4. You can play or pause
the disc.
Selected DVD functions
The selected functions offered by the DVD
player, you have connected, can be operated
via Beo4 and the menu overlay for this
particular DVD player. Call up the menu and
find out which Beo4 buttons to use for which
functions.
Press to switch on your
DVD player and the
disc starts playing
directly
Pause the disc
Resume play
Switch the Avant and
the DVD player to
standby

Call up the menu
overlay
Press the corresponding
coloured button, red,
green, yellow or blue

to the desired option
Use the number keys to
enter information in
menus or services, if
relevant
Press GO to select an
option in a menu
Press EXIT to return to
watching the DVD
movie etc.
