Activate parental control
Switch on TV Parental guidelines or the MPAA rating system if available in your
area. Assign an access code, which you need to enter to be able to watch a
programme or channel that has been locked.*

NOTE! If you have forgotten your access code,
key in 9999 three times when ‘OLD CODE’ is
highlighted. This allows you to enter a new
code.

Access code
In Korea, parental control may not be supported by your programme
provider.
To change or override settings, you also need to enter the access code first.
If an incorrect access code is entered three times, the TV automatically
switches to standby.
When a locked programme/channel is selected,
the screen goes blank, sound is shut off, and
the access code must be entered. All
programmes/channels become available and
parental control is switched off until you switch
off the TV.
Enter the access code
Assign/change the access code to restrict access
to programmes/channels with broadcasted
restrictions and to prevent settings from being
changed by others. The default setting is 0000.

Select locked channel

Select and store the restriction level that you
want to impose.
Preset the MPAA rating
Select ‘PARENTAL
CONTROL‘ in
‘OPTIONS’ menu
Bring up ‘TV SETUP’
menu
Select ‘MPAA
RATING’ menu
Select one common restriction level for all
categories or preset the restriction level for the
individual categories.
