Connect and operate an audio system
If you connect a compatible
Bang & Olufsen audio system to
the television, you obtain the
benefits of an integrated audio/
video system.
Play music on your audio system
using speakers connected to the
television, or switch on a TV
programme and send the sound
to your audio system speakers.

Your AV system can be placed
together in one room or in two
rooms with the television placed
in one room and the audio
system with a set of speakers
placed in another.
Not all Bang & Olufsen audio systems
support integration with the television.
If you move your link room products to
other rooms, remember to have your
Beo6 remote control reconfigured by
your Bang & Olufsen retailer.
Some content providers may have
blocked distribution of sound.
Connect your audio system to the television
Option setting for the television
Option setting of the television is done
via the PRODUCT INTEGRATION menu
where you also select which product the
television is connected to.
In the VM OPTION menu highlight the option
you want and press the centre button.
See the next page for examples of correct
Options.
Option setting for the audio system
When you have connected your audio
and video system, you must set the
audio system to the correct Option.
Beo4 operation …
While holding the • button on
Beo4, press
Let go of both buttons
Press to bring up OPTION? in
the Beo4 display
Press to bring up A.OPT in the
Beo4 display and enter the
appropriate number (0, 1, 2
or 4)
Beo6 operation …
Place yourself in front of the
audio system
While holding the • button,
press the centre button to
bring up the SETUP menu on
Beo6
Let go of both buttons
Press to bring up the Option
Programming display on Beo6
Press the button that matches
the zone in which the audio
system is placed, for example,
