7 Maintenance
! DANGER
– Risk of fatal injury by electric shock at live
connections. Lethal voltages are still present in
the inverter and the connection box even after the
electrical connections have been disconnected.
– Wait fi ve minutes before reaching into the
inverter and the connection box.
– When working on the photovoltaic modules, the
current must be switched off on the inverter and
the solar installation with the aid of the DC dis-
connect switch on the connection box and the
external AC disconnect switch.
ACTION
Switch off the line voltage and the solar generator with the
aid of the DC disconnector (I = on or energized / O = off or
deenergized) and the external AC switch.
7.1 Cleaning the fan
If the fan is only covered with loose dust, it can be cleaned with
the help of a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
If the fan is very dirty, or if it s defective, it can be removed.
7.2 Removing the fan
If the fan is very dirty or defective, proceed as follows:
! DANGER
Danger due to lethal voltages.
1. Switch the DC disconnect and the external AC discon
nect to the OFF (0) position to de-energize the inverter
and lock out to prevent inadvertent energizing of the
inverter during service.
2. Wait 5 minutes for the internal components of the
inverter to discharge.
3. Remove the two inverter hinged door screws and open
door.
4. Disconnect the fan connections, labeled with „Lüfter“.
