MAINTENANCE
Cutting Edge Removal And Installation
WARNING!
AVOID INJURY OR DEATH
Securely block up the attachment before working underneath.
1. Raise the snow blade off the ground. Position blocks (Item
1) under the skid shoes. Lower the blade until it rests
securely on the blocks.
2. Stop the engine and exit the machine. See page 16.
3. Remove all the bolts (Item 2) and remove the cutting edge
(Item 3).
Shear Bolt Removal And Installation

Securely block up the attachment before working underneath.
Removal
1. Raise the snow blade off the ground. Position a jackstand
(Item 1) under the blade. Lower the blade until it rests
securely on the jackstand.
2. Stop the engine and exit the machine. See page 16.
3. Remove the old shear bolt (Item 2) from the base of the
angle blade cylinder and remove the bushing (Item 3).
4. Inspect
the bushing (Item 4), bolt (Item 5) and nut (Item 6)
for damage.
Installation
1. Install the bushing (Item 3).
2. Align the cylinder and install the bolt (Item 2) and nut.
Tighten to 20-24 ft.-lbs. (27-32 Nm) torque.
