Description
Maintenance work must be done at regular intervals. Failure to do so will result in excessive wear and early failures. The
service schedule is a guide for correct maintenance of the attachment.

PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION
Angle broom does not
operate. Damaged or incorrect attachment of the PTO
shaft. Check connection, connect properly, repair
or replace.
Bristle shaft shear bolt has sheared / missing. Replace bolt.
Gearbox input shaft shear bolt has sheared or
missing. Replace bolt.
Broom bristles wear quickly. Too much down pressure being applied to the
broom. Adjust the wheel height.
Adjust spring tension.
Broom operation not effective. Broom bristles worn to minimum length. Replace Broom bristle sections.

Attachment Frame Inspection Inspect for cracks or damage.
Wheel Inspection Inspect for excess wear, cracks, damage
and loose hardware.
Grease PTO Shaft Grease PTO shaft and u-joints.
Lubricate the Wheel Assemblies Lubricate the wheel assemblies.
Replace Gearbox Lube Drain and replace fluid - 14 fl. oz. (0.414
L) of Polaris Angle Broom Oil [1]
