Power Cables for
Control Panel and
System Controller
In order to meet UL and TUV safety requirements, the appropriate
power cables must be used with each control panel and system
controller.
Both the TUV and the UL
power cables are provided
with each unit that
requires power.
UL Approved Power Cable
This option must be used on all units installed in the United
States, Canada, South America and South East Asia. A Standard
110 VAC power cable is supplied with each Control Panel and
System Controller. It has a molded grounding plug (NEMA 5-15P)
at one end and a molded grounding connector (IEC 320) at the
other end.
TUV Approved Power Cable
This option must be used on all units installed in Europe. The
Control Panel and System Controller power will be supplied with
a molded grounding connector (IEC 320) on one end with pigtails
on the other. Areas outside of Europe may or may not require a
TUV approved cable, please check local requirements and order
accordingly.
Power Cable for
Video Processor
In order to meet UL and TUV safety requirements, the appropriate
power cables must be used with each video processor frame.
UL Approved Power Cables
This option must be used on all units installed in the United
States, Canada, South America and South East Asia. A Standard
110 VAC power cable is supplied with each video processor. It
has a molded grounding plug (NEMA 5-20P) at one end and a
molded grounding connector (IEC 320) at the other end.
TUV Approved Power Cables
This option must be used on all units installed in Europe. The
video processor power will be supplied with a molded grounding
connector (IEC 320) on one end with pigtails on the other. Areas
outside of Europe may or may not require a TUV approved cable,
please check local requirements and order accordingly.
Control Cable
A 50-meter control cable is included with every Krystal and
Model 2200-2i control panel.
The Krystal control system uses Ethernet 10 Base 2 thin net
system. This uses a 50 ohm RG-58 cable (Belden 9907
recommended). The entire network must not exceed 150 meters
total length. The control system must be dedicated to Krystal
control (i.e. isolated from other networks).
Each end of the network must be terminated. 50 ohm terminations
are supplied with the equipment. Equipment must be on a T
connector directly off the control network. Do not put equipment
on legs or spurs off the network. Ts are supplied with the
equipment.
