F4G-T4G, 4 SFP slots and 4 Gbit copper ports
The F4G-T4G interface has four sFP slots supporting ethernet BaseFX/X and four rJ-45
connectors supporting ethernet 10/100/1000BaseTX/T. each sFP slot can
hold one sFP transceiver for copper or fibre cable. Fibre transceiver distances range
from 550 m (0.34 mi) to 120 km (74,6 mi).

All ports support category 5e cable or better and can handle cable lengths up to 150 m
(492 ft).

* NOTE! railway installation close to the rails.
To minimise the risk of interference, a shielded cable is recommended when the cable is located
inside 3 m boundary to the rails and connected to this port.
The cable shield should be properly connected (360°) to an earthing point within 1 m from this
port. This earthing point should have a low impedance connection to the conductive enclosure of
the apparatus cabinet, or similar, where the unit is built-in. This conductive enclosure should be
connected to the earthing system of an installation and may be directly connected to the protective
earth. refer also to "safety" section.
