Running The Updater - Windows
The final step to install-
ing is to update the
system PPD’s to match
the custom PPD’s the
installer has placed on
the Desktop.
Open the folder on the
CD named Updater
Windows QuikRIP and
double click the
QuikRIP PPD Updater.
Your system PPD’s have
now been updated.
This step is VERY im-
portant and MUST be
followed.
You may disregard the
other files in the folder
however if the updater
is copied to your com-
puter, the entire folder
must be copied! The
other files are needed
by the updater to adjust
your system!
Note: PPD’s are called
SPD’s on Windows 95-
98. If using 95-98,
select the SPD file when
the loading of a printer
description file is re-
quired. This is dis-
cussed later in this
manual.
