N8012 QUICK START

Your Conductor N8012 is designed to control a video-over-IP distribu-

tion system made up of SVSi encoders and decoders. Connection to

the video network is through the gigabit Ethernet ports on the back of

the Conductor N8012 as shown.

All SVSi devices must be connected though Ethernet port 1 on the

right. Ethernet port 0 on the left is for seperate corporate LAN. Every

N8002 ships with a default static Ethernet port 0 IP address of

192.168.1.99 and a default static Ethernet port 1 IP address of

169.254.10.99.

To connect to your Conductor N8012 for the first time, plug a network

connection into Ethernet port 0 and browse to 192.168.1.99 using

Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer. The network connection for the

host machine must have the 192.168.1.xxx domain. The log-in screen

should appear.

Ethernet 0 = Corporate LAN

Ethernet 1 = SVSi Network

The default username and password is “admin” and “password”.

The username and password above is for the default administrator account. Once logged in, this can be changed and additional user

and administrator accounts added. If the only administrator account is the default admin account and the password is changed, make

sure to record this password since there is no way to recover except for factory restore.
