Inputs / outputs
The SMT391 is an AC-coupled mode.
The AC-coupled option uses a twisted pair balun (MACOM TP-101) transformer to
convert a single ended signal to a balanced AC Coupled input on the ADC. The
figure on the following page shows this setup. Note that the input on the ADC is
differential and that for each of these two signals there are two pads on the ADC.
One pad connects to the transformer and the second pad is terminated through a 50
Ohm resistor to ground.
