INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Locate the two studs on each shock tower and remove the nuts with a 15mm
deep socket. Depending on the car, a wrench may be required. On some of
the newer models, there is an extra nut on the passenger side inner stud
that retains an a/c line bracket that must also be removed.
2.
On the older models, there is an a/c sensor on the passenger side that must
be temporarily removed for the install. It has a schraeder valve behind it so
don't worry about freon loss. It is not tight and can be removed with pliers
successfully.
3.
Position the brace over the passenger side first then lower over the driver’s
side.
4.
There are two brake lines here running to the ABS unit that need to be
gently pushed over in order to lower the brace all the way down.
5.
Once in place, install the supplied flat washers, then the nuts can be re-
installed. The outer nuts can be installed with the socket while the inners
generally require a wrench. On newer models with the passenger side a/c
line bracket, the bracket will either need to be deleted or slipped under the
main mounting nut due to limited threads on the stud. On older vehicles,
reinstall the a/c sensor and plug it back in.
