INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Begin by jacking up the front of the vehicle and then place jack stands under the
frame to safely support the vehicle. The front wheels need to be off of the ground.
2. Remove both front wheels using a 22mm deep socket.
3.
On The Driver's Side Only: Using an 18mm socket or wrench, loosen the three (3)
nuts from the studs on the top strut mount (See Picture 1 Below).

Using a 15mm wrench or socket, remove both bolts from the lower strut mount's t-bar
to lower a-arm connection. Remove both of the nut clips from the top of the strut's
lower t-bar mount using a flat screw driver (See Picture 2 Below).

Using an 18mm socket or wrench, remove the three (3) nuts from the studs on the
top strut mount that you loosened in Step 3 above (See Picture 1 Below).
6.
Remove the strut from the vehicle (See Picture 3 Below).
7.
Install the supplied 1/2” thick round spacer plate on top of the upper strut mount (See
Picture 4 Below).
8. With the 1/2” thick spacer plate in place, reinstall the strut using three (3) of the
supplied 10mm flanged locking nuts. Make hand tight only at this time.
9.
Press down on the lower a-arm and/or use a pry bar and place two (2) of the 1/2”
thick black powder coated lower t-bar spacers between the t-bar and the lower a-arm.
Align the holes and install the factory mounting bolts from underneath. Install two (2)
of the supplied 10mm flanged lock nuts from the top. Using a 15mm socket and
wrench torque both bolts to 35 ft./lbs. (See Pictures 5 & 6 Below)

Using a 15mm socket torque the three (3) 10mm flanged locking nuts on the upper
strut mount that you installed in Step 8 above to 35 ft./lbs. (See Picture 1 Below)
11. Repeat Steps 3-10 on the passenger's side of the vehicle.
12. Reinstall both front wheels and fully tighten the lug nuts using a 22mm deep socket.
13. Jack up the front of the vehicle and remove both jack stands. Safely lower the vehicle
to the ground.
14. Installation is complete. You now need to have a front end alignment completed by a
professional alignment shop. Factory front alignment specifications are recommended.
