8. While guiding the top of the shock, jack up the rear housing until the top shock
mounting clevis is lined up and against the mounting hole in the reinforcement plate.
Install the top mounting bolt through the clevis mounting hole and install the top
mounting nut and washer to secure the shock. Make sure the top clevis mount is
square (front and back) and then fully tighten the top and bottom mounting
bolts/nuts.
9. Repeat on the other side of the car.
10. Re-install wheels and lower the car to the ground.
11. With the car in neutral, roll the car front and back several times to seat the
springs.
12. Check your ride height and make any desired adjustments. Each time an
adjustment is made, repeat step # 11.
13. When you have achieved the desired adjustment, lock the spring seat jam nut
tightly against the spring seat using the supplied spanner wrenches.
Note: Failure to lubricate the coil over threads with anti-seize or equivalent prior to
adjusting ride height will cause damage to your shock absorber thus voiding the
warranty. All ride height adjustments must be made with the vehicle weight
completely unloaded from the suspension.
