THREE-WAY SWITCHING VALVE
Installing the three-way switching
valve
If clamping the three-way switch-
ing valve, you must ensure that the
raised "H" logo attached to the
valve body is not clamped between
the jaws! Otherwise there is a risk
that the valve will be deformed by
clamping, thus becoming unusable.
NOTE
Replacing the actuator
When replacing the actuator, it is not
necessary to drain all the water from the
system, as the valve together with the
cartridge remain in the pipe during the
process.
!
CAUTION
The replacement of the actuator must
take place in a de-energised state
(electrical system). Also disconnect
the main connection to the actuator.
To replace the actuator, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Press the latching mechanism, which
is located right under the lever,
upwards with your thumb (the head
of the actuator is automatically en-
gaged into the valve body).
2. At the same time, gently push the
actuator downwards by hand and
turn it anticlockwise through approx.
45 degrees.
3. Lift the actuator out of the valve
body.
