The outdoor component is
operated using the regulator for
the indoor unit.
The chapter on "Operation" in the
manual for the indoor unit must
therefore be observed.
Operation
Temporary
shutdown
1. Shut down the system using
the remote control.
2. Switch off the voltage supply
to the unit.
3. Check the unit for visible
signs of damage and clean as
described in the chapter "Care
and maintenance".
4. Cover as much of the unit as
possible with plastic foil to
protect it against the weather.
Permanent
shutdown
Ensure that equipment and
components are disposed of in
accordance with local regulations,
e.g. through authorised disposal
and recycling specialists or at
collection points.

Regular care and observation
of some basic points will ensure
trouble-free operation and a long
service life.
Care and maintenance
Prior to performing any
work, ensure the equipment
is isolated from the voltage
supply and secured to prevent
accidental switch-on!

Care

Ensure the unit is protected
against dirt, mould and other
deposits.

Clean the equipment using
a damp cloth.
Do not use a jet of water.
■
Do not use any caustic, abrasive
or solvent-based cleaning
products.
■
In cases of extreme dirt, only
use suitable cleaning agents.
■
Check the level of dirt on the
fins of the unit.
■
Cover the unit with plastic
sheeting to prevent the ingress
of dirt.
Maintenance
■
It is recommended that you
take out a maintenance
contract with an annual service
from an appropriate specialist.
