The indicator light is solid red in color:
The printer may be in Service, Factory, or Dev access Mode, refer to the LDSII
Programming Guide for additional information pertaining to the ^D930 and
^D931 commands.
Set the access level to BASIC using the ^D931 command.
Cycle power to reset the printer.
The indicator light is flashing green/amber in color:
The printer is initializing the RAM memory.
This occurs when the printer boots and should change to solid green after 10
to 20 seconds.
Cycle power to reset the printer.
The indicator light is flashing amber/red in color:
The printer is updating flash memory.
During this process the firmware is copied from flash to RAM and if power is
removed during this time the printer will become inoperative.
Wait until flashing stops before sending additional data of removing power to
the printer.
The printer creates excessive noise when printing or fails to move media:
Reduce print speed to prevent motor from stalling.
Verify that the media thickness is within acceptable limits.
Verify that media guides are adjusted correctly and that the media is not
experiencing excessive drag.
Check the rigidity of the media being used.
Check the gear drive for excessive wear and/or damage.
