– Instructions for Virtual Tray Adhesive
1. Make sure that all surfaces of the impression tray are oil-free,
clean and dry.
2. Apply a thin layer of Virtual Tray Adhesive to all surfaces of the impression
tray (metal or plastic) that will come into contact with the impression
material.
3. Allow tray adhesive to dry (approx 3 minutes).
4. Replace bottle cap immediately.
Note the warnings in the Virtual Tray Adhesive Instructions for Use!
– Disinfection of impressions
Impressions made with Virtual impression materials can be immersed in a disinfectant solution
(glutaraldehyde 0.5% - benzalkonium chloride 0.5%) immediately for 10 minutes without
distortion.
– Pouring up models
The impression may be poured immediately after disinfection, or up to two weeks later, provi-
ded that the impression is stored at room temperature. Dimensional stability is guaranteed for
14 days. Virtual impression materials are compatible with all popular dental plasters on the
market, eg Type 3: Modano
®
(Heraeus Kulzer), Type 4: Fujirock
®
(G.C. International).
– Galvanization
Virtual impression materials can be silver or copper plated in a galvanic bath.
Special notes
Virtual impression materials should be at room temperature (23 °C / 73.4 °F) when processed.
Lower temperatures, eg when stored in the refrigerator, will prolong the time the impression
material should remain in the mouth, while higher temperatures will reduce it.
Vinylpolysiloxanes are chemically resistant. Unpolymerized materials may stain clothing.
Warnings
If uncured materials come into contact with the eyes, rinse with copious amounts of water. If irri-
tation persists, seek medical attention. In case of contact with the skin, wash affected areas with
plenty of water.
