2. Overview of steps
honestech VHS to DVD 2.0 Deluxe is a software that converts VHS videotapes to CD or DVD.
You can make TV programs, movies or video clips that you shoot into VCD or DVD in real time using
this product. The Edit function enables you to make beautiful titles with Effects, and Cut and Paste
Clips. The Burning function enables you to save video clips as DVD or VCD so that you can play
them later using the player. Now you can make your own VCD/DVDs with the movies, dramas and
video clips that you shoot of your baby with honestech VHS to DVD 2.0 Deluxe .
honestech VHS to DVD 2.0 Deluxe has two modes, wizard mode and advanced mode
- Wizard Mode
It is a self-descriptive mode that is very easy to use by following the step-by-step guide to
get started.
- Advanced Mode
It is designed to simplify the process of producing videos by making it into three simple
steps.
• Step One – Capture
Videos are captured from devices attached to your computer such as
Camcorder, TV, VCR, DVD Player, etc. (May require TV Capture card)
Different formats are available for capture. VCD, SVCD or DVD. The captured
videos are stored in the folder you specify on your computer.
• Step Two – Edit
Videos can be edited to remove unwanted scenes such as commercials.
Then transition effects can be added between scenes for more sophistication.
Edited videos are saved separately from original for easy comparison.
• Step Three - Burn
Your captured and edited clips are compiled together to create your home
movie. You can create multiple pages of screen menus and add / change titles
to organize your movies.
