Battery Information and Replacement

AXIO mini Battery: CR1632 3V Lithium
AXIO Battery: CR2032 3V Lithium
AXIO max Battery: CR2032 3V Lithium

AXIO mini and AXIO Battery Life:
2 to 2.5 years depending on use
of the altimeter and backlight.

AXIO max Battery Life:
1.5 to 2 years depending on use of the altimeter,
backlight and digital compass.

NOTE: Heavy use of the altimeter, backlight
and compass will significantly reduce
the quoted battery life.

Battery Replacement

1. Turn the battery hatch counter-clockwise using only a COIN in the slot.
2. Take care not to lose the rubber gasket or expose it to foreign residue.
3. Carefully, remove the plastic battery cover by turning it counter-clockwise.
4. Remove the old battery and replace with new battery with POSITIVE symbol (+) facing you.
5. Replace plastic battery cover.
6. Ensure the rubber gasket is properly in place before replacing the battery hatch.

NOTE: Blank display, inaccurate altitude and compass or fading backlight are indications

that the battery is getting low.
