1. Assuming that Synology is already powered and connected to your local network, install and run
“Synology Assistant” software (available in CD provided with your DSM) to locate the IP of your DSM.
Note: if you are not able to find the IP of your device, make sure that no Firewall is running on your computer, and run
software again.
2. Double click the server name, and login page will be shown.
3. Enter Admin login and password (admin/admin by default)
