Replace the string fuses
Safety
Preparation Break the connection to the incoming AC lines using the AC disconnecter for the in-
verter
Interrupt the solar module strings to the Fronius String Control 250/30
Put up a clearly legible and easy to understand warning notice to prevent opened/in-
terrupted connections being reclosed or switched on again
Check that there is no voltage in the solar module strings
Short circuit the solar module strings
Open the cover
Check the continuity of the fuse holder at the terminals
Replacing the
string fuses
Determine and eliminate the cause of the faulty fuse
WARNING! Work that is carried out incorrectly can cause serious injury and dam-
age. The following activities must only be carried out by trained and qualified per-
sonnel. Note the safety rules in these operating instructions.
WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from DC voltage in PV mod-
ules.

Make sure that both the input side and output side of the device are de-ener-
gised before starting any maintenance work.
- Never replace fuses while under load.
