Installing the Fronius String Control 250/30
Selecting wall
plugs and screws Different wall plugs and screws are needed to install the Fronius String Control 250/30 de-
pending on the wall surface. As a result, wall plugs and screws are not supplied as stand-
ard with the Fronius String Control 250/30. The installer is responsible for selecting the
right wall plugs and screws.
Installation posi-
tion The Fronius String Control 250/30 can be installed in any position between the horizontal
and vertical.
However, the cable entries and outlets must always be positioned pointing downwards.
Selecting a loca-
tion Take the following criteria into account when selecting the location:

Install only on a solid, level surface; the housing must not distort when tightened
- The ambient temperature must not be less than -25 °C or more than +55 °C
- IP 55 degree of protection means that the Fronius String Control 250/30 can be in-
stalled outside and exposed to a certain amount of moisture. However, we recom-
mend that the device is not exposed directly to moisture.
- Protect from direct sunlight and exposure to the elements
- Install beneath the solar modules if possible
