Selecting string
fuses

Select the string fuses to protect the solar modules in accordance with the module manu-
facturer's instructions or as described in the 'Criteria for selecting the correct string fuses'
section:

max. 20 A per fuse holder

max. 30 solar module strings

max. 50 A per measuring channel

max. 250 A total input current

Fuse dimensions: diameter 10 x 38 mm

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from DC voltage in solar mod-
ules.

Make sure that both the input side and output side of the device are de-ener-
gised before attaching any connections.

Never fit or remove fuses while under load.

All connections must be made by qualified electricians.

Note the safety rules in these operating instructions.

NOTE! Fit string fuses in the fuse holders according to the number of solar mod-
ules in use.
