™ Memory Hole At 15M-16M (Default: Disabled)
This item is used to determine whether the 15 M-16 M address field of memory
is reserved for the ISA expansion card. The available setting values are: En-
abled and Disbled.
™ PCI Express Root Port Func
Press to set the items of PCI Express root port function. Please refer
to page 49.
™ PEG/Onchip VGA Control (Default: Auto)
Set this option as “Onchip VGA”, if you want to use onboard VGA; set this
option as “PEG Port”, if you want to used PCI Express x16 graphics card; set
as Auto, BIOS will auto-detect and enable the device you used. The available
setting values are: Onchip VGA, PEG Port, Auto.
™ PEG Force X1 (Default: Disabled)
This option is used to set PCI Express x16 slot to PCI Express x1 slot. The
available setting values are: Disabled, Enabled.
Note: This item will be shown and modified when you use PCI Express x16
device.
Note: This following items will be shown and modified when you use onboard
VGA.
™ On-Chip Frame Buffer Size (Default: 8 MB)
This item is used to set the VGA frame buffer size. The available setting values
are: 1 MB, 4 MB, 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB.
Note: This function does not work when the external display card is used.
™ FIXED Memory Size (Default: 64MB)
This item is used to set the fixed memory size for onboard VGA used. The
vailable setting values are: 0 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB.
™ DVMT Memory Size (Default: 64MB)
This item is used to set DVMT (Dynamic Video Memory Technology) memory
size. DVMT ensures the most efficient use of available system memory re-
sources for maximum 2D/3D graphics performance. The available setting
values are: 0 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB.
