HARDWARE INSTALLATION

COM Header : COM1&COM2

This motherboard supports two serial RS232
COM port for legacy compatibility. User must
purchase another RS232 cable with a 9-pin D-sub
connector at one end to connect with the external
RS232 device and another end with 10-pin female
connector to connect with COM connector in the
motherboard.

USb 3.0 Connectors: USb 3.0

This connector complies with the USB 3.0
specification, and is for the additional USB 3.0
ports.

USb 2.0 Headers: f_USb1/2

These connectors comply with USB 2.0 speci-
fication, you can get USB ports by connecting
the USB module cable to any of these connec-
tors.
Support USB Smart Charging function.
1.Support system sleep mode/system shutdown
mode charging, support up to 2.5A charging
current (5 times the current supported by USB
2.0 port, 2.8 times the current supported by USB
3.0 port)
2.Automatic selection of available charging mode
for portable device, support charging for Apple
(support up to Apple 2.4A charging mode),
SAMSUNG and other portable device, compliance
with BC1.2 constitution.
3.Compliance with USB Committee Charging
Constitution version 1.2 for DCP and CDP charg-
ing mode.
4.Compliance with Chinese Telecommunication
Industrial Standard 1591-2009.
5.Support D+/D- 1.2 volt mode.
6.Support thermal and short circuit protection
function.
