To remove an item, when viewing

the alphabetical list of saved

recipes or the list of grocery

items, place the cursor next to the

recipe or the grocery item you

want to delete and then press

REMOVE

. The saved recipe or gro-

cery item will be deleted from the

corresponding list, and the mes-

sage “

DELETED

will appear for

two seconds on the screen. Then

the LCD will return to the previ-

ous screen.

AUTO POWER OFF

If no key is pressed for 10 min-

utes, the unit will automatically

turn off in order to spare your bat-

teries. Simply press

ON

/

ENTER

and Recipe Master will return to

the point where it was before it

was turned off.

SAVE

. “

SAVED TO FAVORITES

will

appear on the screen, and then the

LCD will return to the instruction

menu with the icon “

MEM

at the

upper left corner under

YIELDS

. (If

you change your mind about sav-

ing that recipe at this time, press

SAVE

a second time to remove it

from your list of favorites. The

icon “

MEM

will disappear.)

Please note that the recipe which

you have saved as a favorite will

always be displayed with the icon

MEM

on the instruction screen.

To view your list of favorites,

select

SAVED

] from the home

menu. The message “

SAVED

or “

SAVED

” [

will be

shown. (The number in brackets

shows how many recipes you

have saved.) If no recipes are

saved and you press

ON

ENTER

will appear on the

LCD. If recipes have been saved,

use the

UP

or

DOWN

key to scroll

to a recipe and press

ON

ENTER

to

confirm. The instruction menu for

that recipe will then appear on

screen with choices such as

,

PREPARATION

and

NOTE

, as explained above.

Alternatively, you can also go to

your list of favorites by placing

the cursor next to

RECIPE

on the

home menu and then pressing

NEXT

. The LCD will show you

how many recipes are saved.

Press

ON

ENTER

to see the list, and

ON

ENTER

again to select a recipe

you’ve scrolled to.
If you save more than 25 recipes

to

FAVORITES

, the recipes previ-

ously saved will be replaced in

turn by the ones saved later.

USING THE REMOVE BUTTON

Recipe Master may lock up due to static

discharge or other electrical disturbances.

If this should happen, use a slim,

pointed object to press the button

marked “

RESET

” on the back of the unit.

You don’t have to lose saved information

when you change batteries!

Simply wait 10 minutes after pushing a button.

(Recipe Master will shut off automatically.)

Then follow the instructions for changing batteries

on page 5, installing the new batteries within 20

seconds of removing the old ones.
