1. Remove the tripod from the packaging and extend the

legs by unlatching the lock and pulling each of the legs

out.

2. Lock the legs into place.

3. Spread the legs out making sure that they are on a

stable, fl at surface.

4. Attach the main body to the main body connecting

screw by aligning the threaded hole with the screw.

5. Tighten the knob on the underside of the attaching

bracket.

6. Unscrew and remove the two bolts on the top of the

telescope. Place the Finder Scope over the screws.

Align it properly and tighten. (Note: Make sure that the

Finder Scope is pointed forward as shown above.)

7. Install one of the two eyepieces into the focus tube and

secure it in place by tightening the screw.

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.

8. For easy viewing, install the Diagonal Viewer into

the Focus Tube.

9. Insert one of the lenses into the Diagonal Viewer

and tighten it. (Note: Make sure the end of the

Diagonal Viewer without the screw is

inserted into the Focus Tube of the telescope.)

Installing the Erector

1. Remove the Diagonal Viewer.

2. Insert 1.5x Erector Lens between the eyepiece

and the telescope.

3. Attach the Diagonal Viewer back onto the telescope

as explained in Step 8 or Assembling Your Telescope.

1. Make sure that the tripod legs are on fi rm, stable

ground.

2. Point the telescope toward the sky and use the Finder

Scope to locate an object in the distance.

3. Turn the Focus Knob carefully until your subject comes

into clear, sharp view.
